6105 – 8009

SEIKO DIVE WATCH

LEN MUELLER 6105 8009

 KEEPS GREAT TIME
LOOKS LIKE IT IS A NEAR NOS TIME PIECE

IMG_1611.jpg (28427 bytes)

99% OF CASE FLAWS, DINGS, DENTS, IMPERFECTIONS  REMOVED
FILING AND SANDING THEM MEASURED
THEN POWER ROUGE CUTTING AND POLISHING
WITH 4 DIFFERENT ROUGES

IMG_1612.jpg (28741 bytes)

REMOVED MANY DINGS WITH HAMMER PIECE & MY NEW
AIR OPERATED HAMMER HAND PIECE

IMG_1610.jpg (34740 bytes)

NOTE THE SHADED MARK? DEEPER SCRATCHES ARE SANDED AS CLOSE
AS POSSIBLE THEN POLISHED AND THEN BEADED

IMG_1607.jpg (35759 bytes)

MADE SECONDS HAND ILLUMINATION AND RED BOLDER

IMG_1623.jpg (47605 bytes)

THE LUMINOVA PLACED FOR ILLUMINATION IS PURPOSELY RAISED SOME TO
PROVIDE LONGER ILLUMINATION OVER THE YEARS AS IT BEGINS TO LOSE
ABILITYTO GLOW. PHOSPHORUS AND ZINC  ARE THE PRIMARY INGREDIENTS
I ALSO MADE THEM LOOK SLIGHTLY OLDER

IMG_1602.jpg (35512 bytes)

BEZEL INSERT IS CUSTOM AND THIS ONE REQUIRED LOTS OF WORK
I PURCHASED AN AIR POWER MINI HAMMER HAND PIECE USING MY CASH AND
THAT OF MY PROFITS FROM THIS RESTORATION. IT WORKED BETTER
THAN THE FLEX SHAFT DRIVEN HAND HAMMER PIECE
EXPLAINED FURTHER DOWN

IMG_1620.jpg (46981 bytes)

FINAL CASE BACK AFTER FURTHER WORKS WITH NEW HAND PIECE

IMG_1602.jpg (35512 bytes)

THE 6105 DOES NOT HAVE THE SPRING AND BEARING CLICKER
IT DOES NOT HAVE THE RIDGE CUTS THAT CLICK OVER THE BEARING
THAT KEEP HER “LOCKED” TO NUMERAL POSITION
THEY ALSO USE THE OLD STYLE WIRE HOLD RING
AND SIMPLY USE FRICTION WHEN TURNED WITH AN O RING
WHEN FIRST RECEIVED THEY -THE 6105 SERIES — FEEL LOOSE
BUT THAT IS WD40 MIXED WITH SILICON 7 I USE THIS TO
ASSIST IN SNAPPING HER DOWN AND LUBRICATING BEZEL CHANNELS
THIS WILL EVENTUALLY DISAPPEAR

IMG_1616.jpg (41481 bytes)

NOTE THE CENTER SWEEPS SECOND HAND
IT SURELY GLOWS GREAT. TWICE THE AMOUNT OF LUMINOVA
AND THE RED IS AGAIN TWICE THE SIZE
ALLOWS THE HAND TO BE SEEN WHEN CROSSING THE ILLUMINATED MARKERS

IMG_1613.jpg (33911 bytes)

TIME FADE TWIST

IMG_1601.jpg (33864 bytes)

AWESOME ALL THE WAY
IS IN ITS SECOND DAY OF TESTING
I WILL NOW WEAR IT A FEW DAYS

IMG_1440.jpg (36105 bytes)
NOTE THE OLD INSERT WIDTH IS NOT THE SAME
THIS WAS A FLAW IN THE ACTUAL BEZEL NOTE
LEFT TOP NEXT TO # 20? ALSO BEFORE. I ALWAYS
WANT TO KEEP/USE ORIGINAL BEZEL AFTER MKT ARE
EASELY IDED AND THAT MEANS LOSS OF VALUE
IMG_1445.jpg (51893 bytes)IMG_1444.jpg (32619 bytes)
IMG_1446.jpg (47639 bytes)IMG_1435.jpg (37950 bytes)

HAVE NOT INSTALLED NEW CRYSTAL BUT CASE COMPLETED AND THE BEZEL INSERT
THE INSERT WAS A JOB AND A HALF. UNLIKE SIMPLY PULLING THE OLD ONE
AND INSTALLING THE NEW, THE BEZEL ITSELF HAD ISSUES

IMG_1454.jpg (36524 bytes)IMG_1455.jpg (38667 bytes)
